The slow, slow wait

I know. I shouldn't complain. Some countries are so much slower than Ethiopia but I am hating this wait. What makes the wait worse is that referrals in Ethiopia seem to be at a stand still. The Ethiopia adoption forum has not had a referral celebration in well over 2 weeks. That is a long time. I am hoping that referrals pick up in Novemeber or it looks as if we won't hear anything until the new year. I am crossing my fingers for a Christmas surprise but would not be surprised if we don't hear until our birthdays. The wait is killing me right now. I know I have baby fever and just can't wait to get baby #2 in our arms and home. That plus the baby fever going on around me is making this wait unbearable.
