Too fast!!!

I wasn't ready for this....not yet! This morning M woke up and attempted to climb out of his crib. Will caught him mid-climb, which was a good thing as his foot was stuck in the bars and had he gotten any farther he would have hurt himself pretty badly. M bounced on his mattress and tossed his leg over the rail and Will saw the whole thing. So, now we have to move him to a big bed. It will be an interesting transition with all that is going on here this weekend. When will we have time to take apart the crib and replace it with a big bed. Not to mention that there are a lot of guests here this weekend, which makes it hard to stick to a schedule anyhow. My baby isn't a baby anymore. Yikes, I was so not ready for this to happen and didn't think he would climb out since he loves his crib. It will be a rough and sleepless weekend and I am not ready for it.

M peed in the potty!

I can't even believe it! For the past couple of days M has wanted to use the potty. Every once in a while (about 3 times a day), he will say "potty, potty." So, I encourage it by taking him right to the potty and letting him sit. Well, today right before nap when I told him we were going to change his diaper he said, "potty, potty." and off we went to the potty. Then he did it, he peed. Big brother E was so supportive and proud of him saying, "What a big guy you are now M. You need some big guy underpants now." Then he went on a search for some big guy underwear for M. We found some of E's that were too small in the basement and E gave them to M. I put them on right over his diaper but he was so happy. We'll see what happens but it's an exciting day at our house.
